MEEDEXTRAS™ TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Effective: April 2019
The following Terms and Conditions ("Terms") apply for the MeedExtras program ("Program") of the Meed Banking Club:
1. Your Contract with Us
In this document, you will find the following terms:
"You," "Your," or "Customer" refers to a Meed Banking Club member who is enrolled in the MeedExtras feature of the Meed Banking Club.
"Meed," "We," "Us," or "Our," refers to GO Fintech, LLC.
The following definitions cover capitalized words used in these Terms:
|Affiliates||The parents, subsidiaries, and related companies of Meed, Your Member Financial Institution, and each of their respective service providers.|
|Cash Back||Cash Back you earn for making Qualifying Purchases through the MeedExtras program|
|Debit Card||The Meed Debit Card provided through Your Member Financial Institution as part of your membership in the Meed Banking Club.|
|In-Store Offer||A type of Qualifying Purchase that can earn Cash Back. To do so, You make an In-Store purchase using the Debit Card at a Participating Merchant featured on the Meed App.|
|Meed App||Is the Meed Banking Club mobile application.|
|Member Financial Institution||The financial institution with which You have Your individual Meed Banking Club accounts.|
|Online Offers||A type of Qualifying Purchase that can earn cash-back. To do so, You make a purchase online using the Debit Card through the Participating Merchant featured on the Meed App.|
|Participating Merchant(s)||Retailer(s) that participate in the Program.|
|Qualifying Purchase(s)||Term used to refer to both the In-Store Offers and Online Offers purchases of the Program.|
What You Agree To
By using Your Debit Card, You agree that You must follow the Terms. You further agree that You:
- Have the right, authority, and ability to agree to these Terms
- Have read and understand the complete Terms
You also agree that We may:
- Access past and future purchases You make on Your Debit Card
- Use this information to send You offers and messages based on Your purchase behavior or other conditions
Who Offers the Program
Meed Banking Club offers the Program, and Affinity Solutions, Inc. ("Affinity") manages and operates the merchant relationship. By agreeing to these Terms, You understand that:
- Affinity and the Participating Merchant(s) have separate agreements
- We may receive fees from certain Participating Merchants and/or Affinity
How You Earn Cash Back
You earn Cash Back when You make a Qualifying Purchase. You are automatically enrolled in the Program when You join Meed Banking Club.
2. Merchant Offer Overview
All merchant offers come from Participating Merchants. Meed, Affinity, Your Member Financial Institution, and their respective Affiliates (together, the "Group") do not provide any specific offers. Meed is not affiliated with Affinity, Your Member Financial Institution, or any of the Participating Merchants associated with or listed in the Program.
All Participating Merchant offers are subject to availability. The Group can withdraw, change, or replace any Participating Merchant offer featured on the Meed App at any time and for any reason without notifying You. The Group also does not guarantee that any Participating Merchant will:
- Have an available offer for any length of time
- Continue to participate in the Program
The Participating Merchant can cancel or change any merchant offer at any time and for any reason without notifying You. The Group is not responsible for any changes in Participating Merchant offers, nor are our:
Before making a purchase, review Your options to earn Cash Back in the Meed App. This information includes the list of:
- Participating Merchants
- Specific offers
- Eligibility requirements for such offers
Codes, Discounts, Offers
You cannot combine the following items with a Qualifying Purchase, unless it is expressly allowed by an applicable In-Store Offer, Online Offer or Opt-in offer:
- Discount code
- Other offer
Cash Back Caps and Limitations
Some offers may have Cash Back earning maximums or other limitations that may restrict Your ability to earn Cash Back on any particular offer with any particular Participating Merchant
For example, a Participating Merchant may cap Your Cash Back rewards on any transaction, require a minimum purchase amount, or may also limit the number of transactions that qualify for the program.
Certain Participating Merchants may:
- Have blackout periods when they do not offer Qualifying Purchases
- Limit the number of Qualifying Purchases
- Limit the amount of Qualifying Purchases
- Prevent Qualifying Purchases on certain types of transactions (e.g., purchasing gift cards)
- Be unavailable on a mobile device and/or tablet
In addition, some offers from Participating Merchants may only allow You to earn Cash Back for online purchases. In these cases, you will only earn Cash Back for purchases You make through the designated merchant website having followed the appropriate links through the Meed App.
Cash Back from a Participating Merchant is not available in connection with:
- Purchases made at Participating Merchants not participating in the Program when You made the transaction
- Tax paid on online purchases
- ATM or cash advance transactions
- Online merchant transactions not purchased through the Meed App.
- Transactions violating any federal, state, or local law
Additional terms and conditions for each specific Qualifying Purchase involving an Online or In-Store Offer vary by Participating Merchant.
Some products or services may be subject to geographic conditions and may not be available in Your area.
Please view the available offer(s) on the Meed App to see all Participating Merchants and their limitations. Additional terms and conditions for each Qualifying Purchase involving an Online Offer or In-Store Offer vary by Participating Merchant. You will receive this information at the time You select the Online or In-Store Offer.
3. Cash Back
How to Earn Cash Back
You may earn Cash Back when You make Qualifying Purchases either online or in-store.
For a Qualifying Purchase to be valid, you must make a purchase through an applicable Online or In-Store Offer. Any additional terms and conditions will be disclosed to you at the time you select the Online or In-Store Offer through the Meed App.
To complete a Qualifying Purchase online through a Participating Merchant, you must arrive at the Participating Merchant's website through the appropriate link in the Meed app. This is the only way eligible purchases can be tracked and Cash Back awarded.
To complete a Qualifying Purchase through an In-Store Offer, you must meet any terms and conditions required to receive Cash Back. You learn these terms when you receive the offer.
You must make Qualifying Purchases either in person at a Participating Merchant or by personally using the Meed App. You cannot create spend activity by using any of the following:
- Automatic programs
- Any other form of electronic or other assistance
Activated Qualifying Purchases
All Qualifying Purchases require You to use Your Debit Card to make the purchase and may also require You to activate (turn-on) the offer. In these cases, you must click the activate button in the Meed app to use the offer. You will receive the offer's expiration date when you activate it. You must follow these directions for activated Qualifying Purchases in order to make them eligible for Cash Back.
When using Your Debit Card for these transactions, the offers earn Cash Back on the eligible goods' or services' net purchase price. In other words, We base Your cash-back on the net amount You actually paid.
Cash Back Calculations
- Net Purchases: You can only earn Cash Back on Your net purchases (purchases minus returns/credits).
- Bonus Rewards Reversals: We may reverse any Cash Back for the appearance of fraud or abuse.
- Additional Charges: We may not consider taxes, fees, and shipping/handling charges as part of a Qualifying Purchase. These expenses may not earn Cash Back.
- Participating Merchants: The amount of Cash Back offered and the amount you can earn varies by Participating Merchant.
When You Receive Cash Back
You will not immediately receive the Cash Back you earn on a Qualifying Purchase. Participating Merchants can have the following timeframe(s) to process Cash Back.

Please note Participating Merchants' policies vary for how frequently they report transactions. As a result, some Cash Back earned for Qualifying Purchases may take longer than others to appear in Your Meed Banking Club Savings Account.
You will not receive Cash Back for returns of purchases. Cash Back generated from Qualifying Purchases which are later returned will, depending on the date of return, not be credited to Your account or will be subject to an automatic debit of the Cash Back amount from your Savings account if the credit has already occurred.
You will forfeit all Cash Back that has not processed and been paid into Your Meed Banking Club account at the time of closure of Your account.
Cash Back may qualify as taxable income to You. When laws require Us to do so, We will report Your Cash Back value as income to the Internal Revenue Service, as well as state and local tax authorities. By using the Program, You are responsible for paying any federal, state, or local taxes You owe, or other connected fees or gratuities. If You have questions about Your tax liability, please consult Your tax advisor.
5. Additional Terms and Conditions
Changes/ Updates to the Terms and Conditions
At any time and for any reason, in whole or in part, We can change any of these Terms, or amend, cancel, or temporarily suspend the Program feature or Your participation in it. We can make these changes in Our sole discretion for reasons including but not limited to:
- The appearance of fraud or abuse
- Your violation of these Terms
If We change the Terms, the Program, or Your ability to participate in the Program this action may:
- Decrease the Cash Back value
- Cancel Your ability to earn Cash Back
We will give You advance written notice of any material changes to these Terms.
Communication Between You and Us
We have a variety of reasons and channels for communicating with You.
Missing Cash Back
For Qualifying Purchases, You should receive Your Cash Back within 90 days of Your Qualifying Purchase ("Review Period").
If You do not receive Your expected Cash Back after the Review Period, You must file a claim using the following process:
- Call your Member Bank's customer service team on 833-213-6333 within 60 days of the end of the Review Period.
Provide the necessary documentation concerning the purchase You believe should have resulted in Cash Back, specifically:
- Your Name
- Merchant Name
- Online or In-Store
- Order Date
- Order ID/Receipt Number/Confirmation Number
- Subtotal Amount (No taxes, fees, etc.)
If You do not call within 60 days after the end of the Review Period, You automatically waive Your right to the Cash Back claim.
After We complete an investigation, We will report the results to You. Once You receive Our decision, We have no further responsibility to the claim if You submit it to Us again.
Changing Contact Information
You must maintain Your contact information on the Meed App.
Receiving Program Feature Bulletins
As part of the Meed program You consent to receive bulletins (including e-mail and electronic "push" notifications or SMS messages) regarding In-Store and Online Offers. You may unsubscribe to notifications at any time.
If any court of law deems any of the Program Term provisions to be unlawful, We will revise the provisions to be lawful; meanwhile, the rest of the Terms will remain in effect. Offers made may not remain valid where restricted by law.
The respective owners have exclusive and sole property to all of their right, title, and interest in all: (A) logos, (B) registered of common law marks, (C) service marks, (D) trademarks.
The Meed App, and its content is protected by copyright, patents, trademarks, and other intellectual property rights and laws.
The protection provided by the rights covers, without limitation, graphics, illustrations, images, information, logos, moving images, other materials, photographs, software and source codes connected with the Meed App, sound, and text.
Dispute Resolution / Arbitration
This section ("Arbitration Provision") constitutes the arbitration agreement between You and Us and includes a mutual waiver of class action rights. This Arbitration Provision governs disputes concerning (1) interpretation of these Terms (including this Arbitration Provision and whether a disagreement is a "dispute" subject to binding arbitration as provided for in this Arbitration Provision); (2) the Program; or (3) the Program's related services or matters (collectively and each a "Covered Dispute(s)").
- Non-judicial resolution of disputes
You and We agree that any Covered Dispute between or among You and Us, regardless of when it arose, will, upon demand by either You or Us, be resolved by the following arbitration process. You understand and agree that You and We are each waiving the right to a jury trial or a trial before a judge in a public court. As an exception to this Arbitration Provision, both You and We retain the right to pursue in small claims court in the state where You reside any dispute that is within that court's jurisdiction.
- Definition of disputes
A dispute is any unresolved disagreement between or among You and Us. It includes claims based on broken promises or contracts, torts (injuries caused by negligent or intentional conduct) or other wrongful actions. It also includes statutory, common law, and equitable claims. A dispute also includes any disagreement about the meaning of this Arbitration Provision, and whether a disagreement is a "dispute" subject to binding arbitration as provided for in this Arbitration Provision.
- Binding arbitration; waiver of class action rights; severability
Binding arbitration is a means of having an independent third party resolve a Covered Dispute without using the court system, judges or juries. Either You or We may require the submission of a Covered Dispute to binding arbitration at any reasonable time notwithstanding that a lawsuit or other proceeding has been commenced. If either You or We fail to submit to binding arbitration following a lawful demand, the one who fails to so submit bears all costs and expenses (including attorney's fees and expenses) incurred by the other in compelling arbitration.
Neither You nor We will be entitled to join or consolidate Covered Disputes by or against others in any arbitration, or to include in any arbitration any Covered Dispute as a representative or member of a class, or to act in any arbitration in the interest of the general public or in a private attorney general capacity.
Each arbitration, including the selection of the arbitrator will be administered by the American Arbitration Association ("AAA"), or such other administrator as You and We may mutually agree to (the AAA or such other mutually agreeable administrator to be referred to hereinafter as the "Arbitration Administrator"), according to the Commercial Arbitration Rules and the Supplemental Procedures for Consumer Related Disputes ("AAA Rules"). To the extent that there is any variance between the AAA Rules and this Arbitration Provision, this Arbitration Provision will control. Arbitrator(s) must be a member of the state bar where the arbitration is held, with expertise in the substantive laws applicable to the subject matter of the Covered Dispute.
You and We each agree that in this relationship (1) You and We are participating in transactions involving interstate commerce; (2) The arbitrator shall decide any dispute regarding the enforceability of this Arbitration Provision; and (3) Each arbitration is governed by the provisions of the Federal Arbitration Act (Title 9 of the United States Code), and, to the extent any provision of that Act is inapplicable, unenforceable or invalid, the laws of the state of Oklahoma.

If any of the provisions of this arbitration agreement dealing with class action, class arbitration, private attorney general action, other representative action, joinder, or consolidation is found to be unlawful or unenforceable, that invalid provision shall not be severable and this entire arbitration agreement shall be unenforceable.
- Rights preserved
This Arbitration Provision and the exercise of any of the rights You and We have under this Arbitration Provision do not stop You or Us from exercising any lawful rights to use other remedies available to preserve, foreclose, or obtain possession of real or personal property; exercise self-help remedies, including setoff and repossession rights; or obtain provisional or ancillary remedies such as injunctive relief, attachment, garnishment, or court appointment of a receiver by a court having jurisdiction.
You and We each agree to take all steps and execute all documents necessary for the implementation of arbitration proceedings. The arbitrator may hear and rule on appropriate dispositive motions as part of the arbitration proceeding, such as motions for judgments on the pleadings, summary judgment, or partial summary judgment. The AAA, the arbitrators, You and We, must, to the extent feasible, take any necessary action to ensure that an arbitration proceeding, as described in this Arbitration Provision, is completed within 180 days of filing the Covered Dispute with the AAA. These parties must not disclose the existence, content, or results of the arbitration, except for disclosures of information required in the ordinary course of business or permitted by applicable law or regulation. This provision will be liberally construed in order to ensure the enforcement of this Arbitration Provision. Arbitration proceedings are conducted in the state where You reside or at a location determined by the AAA.
All statutes of limitations applicable to any Covered Dispute apply to any arbitration between You and Us. The provisions of this Arbitration Provision will survive termination, amendment, or expiration of Your participation in the Program or any other relationship between You and Us. This Arbitration Provision constitutes the entire agreement between You and Us related to arbitration of a Covered Dispute and supersedes all prior arrangements and other communications concerning dispute resolution.
- Fees and expenses of arbitration
Arbitration fees shall be determined by the rules or procedures of the Arbitration Administrator, unless limited by applicable law. Please check with the Arbitration Administrator to determine the fees applicable to any arbitration You may file. If the law applicable to this Agreement limits the amount of fees and expenses to be paid by You, then no allocation of fees and expenses to You shall exceed this limitation. Unless inconsistent with applicable law, each of Us shall bear the expense of our own attorney, expert and witness fees, regardless of which of Us prevails in the arbitration.
- Important Statement Concerning Active Duty Military Service
If at the time You apply for this Account, You are on active duty military service (including active guard or reserve service) or You are a spouse or dependent of a person who is on such active duty military service at that time, then so long as such active duty military service continues, the Arbitration Agreement does not apply to You, nor do any provisions that waive any right to legal recourse under any state or federal law.
